Join us for an interactive night “on the river” at Bitwise’s South Stadium. Activities will range from “habitat” jenga to learning how to navigate the winding San Joaquin River in a canoe. Test your knowledge about Fresno’s watershed to win a coveted River Camp tee or play a challenging round of noodle hockey. Afterwards, jump into a canoe for a stream of photos to preserve this night into memory. No matter which activities you choose to participate in, this event is bound to leave you feeling enthusiastic about one of the Central Valley’s greatest treasures!
All ages are welcome to attend this free event.
About the San Joaquin River and Conservation Trust:
The San Joaquin River Parkway and Conservation Trust began in 1988, when a need to preserve the lands along the San Joaquin River was realized.
Our mission—to preserve and restore San Joaquin River lands having ecological, scenic or historic significance, to educate the public on the need for stewardship, to research issues affecting the river, and to promote educational, recreational and agricultural uses consistent with the protection of the river’s resources—is taught through a variety of services in our three program areas of Conservation, Education, and Recreation.
