JOIN US FOR THE 28TH ANNUAL CALAGALA: DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS EVENT Sunday November 1, 2015 1630 Van Ness in Downtown Fresno ADMISSION: $1 PER INDIVIDUAL (REGARDLESS OF AGE, INFANT-TO-ELDERS) YOUR CONTRIBUTION SUPPORTS ART & CULTURE IN FRESNO! 4PM -- PLAZA GATES OPEN Vendors, Face-painters, and food will be available for "earlybird" guests. Galleries are open to the public. Trolley transport from our cultural center to the Fulton Mall begins at 4:30. 5PM -- MEET ON THE FULTON MALL IN FRONT OF PEEVE'S PUBLIC HOUSE Folklórico and Aztec dancers will perform while guests arrive. Peeve's Public House is at 1243 Fulton Mall, Fresno, CA 93721 near CVS Pharmacy. 5:30/5:45 -- CANDLELIGHT PROCESSION Walk a few short blocks from Peeve's to the Plaza at Arte Américas. Departure time is based on when the sun sets, and will begin once it is dark enough to see the candles 6PM-9PM -- FESTIVITIES IN THE PLAZA Once the procession arrives, the festivities begin! Starting with a traditional dance by the Aztec dance ensemble from Teocalli Cultural Academy. There will be vendors, dancing, food, and lots more!
