Great Sierra River Cleanup and Volunteer Luncheon

The Great Sierra River Cleanup, coordinated by the Sierra Nevada Conservancy and held in conjunction with Coastal Cleanup Day, is about more than picking up trash. It's a day for all Californians and river enthusiasts alike to come together and show their desire for clean and healthy waterways. It's a time to come together with your family and your community to accomplish something vital and worthy on behalf of our great Sierra rivers. This workday will run from 9:00am until 12:00pm and is appropriate for all ages unless specified. Immediately following the Great Sierra River Cleanup, the Parkway Trust will be hosting a volunteer appreciation luncheon at the River Center on Old Friant Road in honor of all the hard work everybody has put in. We hope to see you all there. Now let's get out and clean the San Joaquin! Register online.
