Birds in Flight Photography

Parties for the Parkway

Birds of a feather flock together – in flight, that is. Here’s a new twist on taking wildlife photography to the next level. Meet at the Refuge which has sheltered wintering waterfowl for over sixty years. Your hosts will provide instruction in photographing migrating sandhill cranes, Canada geese and white pelicans in flight. Using your own DSLR telephoto camera equipment, you will learn techniques of stop action, panning, and slow shutter speed photography. This exhilarating morning will end with brunch, served tailgate style. Members: $85 Non-Members: $95 Hosts: Newton Seiden Michael Goldring Joseph Hawkins
