National Night Out 2015

It’s that time of the year. The City of Sanger Police & Fire Departments are hosting their 2015 National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Sanger Park located at 477 Academy Ave. in Sanger from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. The goal of this event is to heighten crime awareness, raise public safety and drug prevention awareness, strengthen neighborhood spirit, increase public safety-community partnerships and send a message to criminals, letting them know that our community is organized and willing to fight back. The police and fire departments and other public safety agencies will be offering home security and safety booths, crime prevention, water safety and various other information booths aimed at helping the community better protect itself. The target audience for this event is all members of the community, including children. Stand Up & Be Heard Stop Bullying Now Will be there with pledge cards, bracelets, and more info on anti-bullying.
