For twenty-seven years, Arte Américas has presented an event for the community that brings Los Muertos to life! Join us for an evening of somber festivity -- celebrate an ancient indigenous tradition and honor those that you have loved and lost. Admission is only $1 per individual (of any age) PLEASE BRING DOLLAR BILL(S) Example admission totals: 2 adult + 3 kids = $5 10 adults + 15 kids = $25 Single person = $1 Schedule: 4pm: at Arte Américas: Gates open to the Plaza Food/drink vendors begin serving 4pm: North end of Fulton Mall (near CVS/Peeve's) Participants can start to gather to the sounds of marimba music 4:30 Performance by Central High School Danzantes de Tlaloc Drummers, poets and other entertainment TBA Sunset is at 5:00 pm AT DUSK - Procession to Arte Américas 5:30pm - 9:00 -- CalaGala in the Plaza featuring Aztec Dancers from Teocalli Cultural Academy The Moonlight Trio from SoCal ALL PROCEEDS benefit our non-profit organization and make it possible to present culturally-significant programming to the community throughout the year.
