Avenue Q

a play by the Fresno City College Theatre Department

This is the story of Princeton, a bright-eyed college grad who comes to New York with big dreams and a tiny bank account. He soon discovers that the only neighborhood in his price range is Avenue Q. Princeton and his new-found friends struggle to find jobs, dates, and their ever-elusive purpose in life. While most of the characters in Avenue Q are puppets, this is not a children’s show. It’s a mischievous and often raunchy look at the challenges young adults face as they try to make their way in the big city. By Robert Lopez, Jeff Marx and Jeff Whitty Directed by Charles Erven
