An Evening with Natalie Cole

Gallo Center for the Arts

The daughter of legendary crooner Nat King Cole ("Mona Lisa," "The Christmas Song," "Unforgettable"), Natalie Cole won the first of her nine career Grammy Awards as Best New Artist of 1975, the year she debuted with the hit “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)." The song also won for Best R&B Vocal Performance, Female. In 1991, the album she recorded in tribute to her father, “Unforgettable… With Love,” won Album of the Year. Her other hit singles include "I've Got Love on My Mind,"Our Love," and the dance-pop cover of Bruce Springsteen's "Pink Cadillac." Like her father, Natalie has remarkable gift for performing standards from the American Songbook. What a treat this evening will be!
