ARTHOP with ConnieAvila

“Romantic Impressions” by Connie Avila June 13-24, 2014 ArtHop Reception, Thursday, April 17, 5-8pm Connie has been an oil painter for over 25 years although art has always been a part of her life. Her soft palette and loosely arranged brushstrokes help bring the rolling hills or a grove of trees alive. “I consider myself a romantic impressionist because I love my paintings to reflect the beauty in the world, whether it be a landscape, a colorful garden or an exciting ocean scene.” Connie also likes to include people and old architecture in her paintings. Her desire is that viewers will enjoy each painting as much as she did painting them.
