Wrapping up their 2016 season, StageWorks Fresno presents the Fresno premiere of PETER AND THE STARCATCHER, opening Friday, December 2nd and running through Sunday, December 18th at the Fresno Art Museum's Bonner Auditorium. PETER AND THE STARCATCHER upends the century-old story of how a miserable orphan comes to be Peter Pan,The Boy Who Would Not Grow Up. When starcatcher-in-training Molly meets an orphan boy longing for a home, they embark on the adventure of a lifetime. You'll be whisked away on a breathtaking quest to answer the question: how did a boy named Peter become the boy who never grew up? PETER AND THE STARCATCHER takes a hilarious romp through the Neverland you never knew. In this Tony Award-winning play with music, a dozen brilliant actors play more than 100 unforgettable characters using their enormous talent, ingenious stagecraft and the limitless possibilities of imagination. This swashbuckling, family-friendly production will have you hooked from the moment you let your imagination take flight! The StageWorks Fresno cast of PETER AND THE STARCATCHER features the talents of Rhys Avants, William Bishop, Christy Hathaway, Randy Kohlruss, Terry Lewis, Daniel Longoria, Erik Olson, Damen Pardo, Michael Peterson, Greg Ruud, Kenzie Stafford, and Steven Lee Weatherbee. This production is directed by Joel C. Abels.
