Cake4Kids, bakes and delivers birthday cakes for foster children and at risk youth. They support all sorts of under-privileged children and youth - who might be in group homes, at a domestic violence or human trafficking agency/shelter, in low income housing with or without a parent or even homeless. Cake4Kids aims to raise these children's self-esteem and confidence with this seemingly simple gift on their special day.

It may just be a cake, but the children that receive them know somebody took the time and effort to do something special just for them. The children realize they are important and in turn can have an impact on the world.

Cake4Kids is really rewarding as a volunteer opportunity - you get to make a child smile on their special day. Their bakers are mostly home-bakers. There are no minimum commitments - you choose how often you want to bake a cake for us.

It's pretty simple - a Cake4Kids volunteer baker chooses a cake theme from their website, bakes the cake in their own home, and delivers the cake to one of the agencies in the area. Volunteers never meet the children that are supported, but every cake is custom-made specially for each child with love.
