Zack Follett, Clovis native, played football for the Detorit Lions but now his travels have returned him home to open up Kuppa Joy coffee house in old town clovis.

Follet grew up playing football at Cedarwood elementary as a youth and continued at Clark Intermediate, Clovis High, and finally the University of California, Berkeley before being drafted by the Lions.

Follett was drafted into the NFL in 2009. Within the next 3 years, his father passed away and he was unable to play football after a serious neck injury. His faith carried him through the pain of those experiences and put him on a mission to create something that he could use as a vehicle to express his relationship with God. Through that, Kuppa Joy was born.

When he opened up shop in December 2012 he focused on spreading Christian values through coffee. “Once I tasted God’s love it became my mission to spread it to everyone I knew. What better way to do that than through a coffee shop, where thousands of people throughout our community connect over a fresh cup of coffee.” Follett says through the Kuppa Joy website.

Their mission is to “provide a peaceful atmosphere, quality coffee, and exceptional customer service. Those 3 ingredients done right, create an emission of Joy, “ According to their website.

Kuppa Joy has just recently opened up a second location in downtown Fresno at 1900 N Echo Ave Fresno, CA 93704

You can find the original Kuppa Joy at 518 Clovis Ave, Clovis, CA 93612
